“Dear Madame Genton,

Dear Mr. Genton,

The Children’s Hospital medical team has let us know that you will not continue to look after the APAEG apartments. We regret your decision, but we fully understand this step. Over the past 30 years, you have both invested an incredible amount of time and energy into APAEG. We can only imagine the magnitude of your commitment!

On behalf of the EVLK (Association des Parents d’Enfants Malades du Foie) and on behalf of all parents of children with liver disease, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for finding the apartments and securing the financing. Thank you for taking care of the apartments, cleaning and laundry. Thank you for the many times you have personally accompanied parents to the apartments and given advice on life in the neighborhood.

For us families, it was and still is a great relief to be able to use an apartment so close to the hospital. Sleeping in peace, preparing your own meals and taking your own shower is a luxury that allows us to recharge our batteries.

We wish you good luck for the coming period. May you enjoy many happy moments surrounded by all your loved ones.

On behalf of all the parents of EVLK,

From the bottom of the heart,

Représentante de l'EVLK (Ass. des Parents d'Enfants Malades du Foie)
